We have a 3 bed semi in Nottingham NG5 1HT. 2 double bedrooms and 1 single. 16ft long living room with bay window. Bathroom with shower and seperate toilet downstairs.
3 storage cupboards 2 downstairs and 1 upstairs. Loft has been boarded out, which we use for storage. GCH and partly double glazed.
Back garden is fully enclosed with 6ft fence, and is dog and child friendly.
Small shed and an 8ft by 6ft wendy hose which will be left. Front garden has driveway, dropped kerb. House backs onto local park which is due for a revamp next year.
Close to shops, doctors, dentist (NHS) city hospital, post office and schools. Bus routes to Arnold, Bulwell & city centre 5 minute walk max.
The street has only 30 houses on it, most of which are know private, we have great neighbours and a quiet area.

All the paperwork is going in from the 4 of us this week. It can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks, then hopefully when we get the all clear we all agree on a date and thats it.
Thanks to www.visitskegness for getting 3 of together, i owe you one admin.

I havent had the courage to tell the kids yet, I dont know what to say to them. They will be devastated.
Or do i say nothing in the hope that linx will change theirs minds, Mark at Friskney keeps phoning them and getting pushed from one department to another. Ive emailed so many councillors an Mp and the mayor and only heard back from one upto now, but its early days yet. My fingers are sore from typing.
Bar for coming down and flooding linx office with tears i just dont know what else to do.
Any suggestions anyone?

I feel so sorry for you Chez. If there was something we could do to help, I am sure we all would. Is this something the local papers, radio or even Peter Levy (BBC Look North) would latch onto and give you some support?? You could try to contact them I guess.
Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks admin, i'll try anything at the moment, so far ive contacted, linxs homes, mayor, MP, housing ombudsman and as many skegness councillors that i can get e-mail addresses for
I have just recieved an e-mail from the MP Mr Mark Simmonds, stating that he will reply to my e-mail by letter, i dont know whether thats a good sign or a bad one. All the same nice of him to reply.
Also heard from the the mayor of skegness which was a bit of a shock, he is going to look up the mishap.

Mr Milner (deputy mayor) phoned linx homes on our behalf today, but as he feared the answer was no. It looks like its down to the MP, Mark Anderson and Brian Burnett to see if they can help now, my hopes are now fading fast, but im not giving up yet.
Thankyou for trying Mr Milner, much appriecated

I think im going to have to face facts and admit defeat, Councillor Anderson passed us onto his PA as he was out of town, but wanted to be kept informed on any development. So far no news there.
Linx homes rang me tuesday afternoon and gave me a good telling off for causing them trouble,
All i want to do is come home and this is the 3rd knock back ive had for one reason or another in 5 years.
